Review by hotel critic
Having frequented Italy's luxury fashion scene, my discerning eye led me to Il Piccolo Giglio Bed & Breakfast, seeking a balance of opulence and value. The petite size felt intimate, reminiscent of boutique hotels in Milan. The room was elegantly adorned, akin to a designer's atelier, while the bathroom boasted premium free toiletries. The shared kitchen, though well-equipped, lacked the finesse I expected in this price range. The lack of a sitting area within the room felt restrictive. While the complimentary breakfast at a nearby bar was delightful, the discount offers at local restaurants proved advantageous. An investment in style or a case of designer labels outstripping substance?
